The sixth edition of the Green Hydrogen Summit Chile LAC 2025<\/a> will take place on April 22 and 23, 2025, at the SurActivo Event Center in Hualp\u00e9n, Concepci\u00f3n, Chile. This event has established itself as the premier meeting on renewable hydrogen in Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing together industry leaders, academics, researchers, and authorities to explore the opportunities and challenges of this emerging energy economy.<\/p>

In its previous edition, held in October 2023, the Summit gathered over 700 in-person participants and 3,000 virtual attendees, demonstrating the growing interest and regional commitment to developing green hydrogen as a key solution to climate change.<\/p>

Presented by CORFO<\/a>, the Biob\u00edo Regional Productive Development Committee<\/a>, H2V Biob\u00edo<\/a>, the Ministry of Energy<\/a>, and the Global Gateway<\/a> of the European Commission through the Team Europe Initiative for the Development of Renewable Hydrogen in Chile<\/a>, with its implementing partners: the German development agency GIZ<\/a> and the Spanish cooperation agency AECID<\/a>. This event is supported by the Chilean Hydrogen Association (H2 Chile<\/a>), the Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Chile<\/a>), the Regional Institute of Business Administration (IRADE<\/a>), Codesser<\/a>, Energy Partnership Chile-Germany<\/a>, and H2 News<\/a>. Together, they provide a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation promotion, and the establishment of strategic alliances in the sector.<\/p>

The choice of Concepci\u00f3n as the venue highlights the importance of the Biob\u00edo Region in Chile\u2019s industrial and energy landscape, emphasizing its potential in the production and application of green hydrogen. Attendees will be able to participate in panel discussions, specialized workshops, and a technology fair showcasing the latest advancements in the field.<\/p>

The event agenda will cover key topics such as the development of infrastructure for green hydrogen, financing models and public policies, international collaboration opportunities, technological innovation in hydrogen production and storage, and strategies for its integration into industrial and transportation sectors. Additionally, success stories will be presented, and networking spaces will be created to strengthen partnerships among ecosystem stakeholders.<\/p>
