With the presence of the Ambassador of Chile to the Netherlands, H.E. Jaime Moscoso, a meeting was organised in the city of The Hague with the companies that will participate in the third trade mission on green hydrogen from the Netherlands to Chile.<\/p>

On this occasion, companies such as the Port of Rotterdam, the Port of Amsterdam, Gasunie and Vopak will participate, forming part of an important delegation that will visit Chile from 22 to 26 October.<\/p>

This trade mission seeks to form alliances and collaborate in the just and inclusive energy transition that will lead Chile to become one of the most important exporters of green hydrogen in the world.<\/p>

The Chilean Embassy in the Netherlands was the perfect setting to inform the companies about the programme of activities that awaits them in Chile, where they will be able to share with the entire local ecosystem, visit the Magallanes region and learn about the Haru Oni pilot project of the company HIF Global.<\/p>

They will also visit the national oil company ENAP’s facilities to talk with them about shared infrastructure.<\/p>

Later, they will visit the terminals of Empresa Portuaria Austral in Punta Arenas.<\/p>

They will also meet with local authorities to learn about the challenges and concerns of the region and its inhabitants.<\/p>

They will participate in an event with the green hydrogen ecosystem of Magallanes, to exchange experiences and knowledge with the development companies present in the region. In addition, they will be able to listen to a keynote speech by the President of ENAP’s Board of Directors, Gloria Maldonado, who will travel especially to share with the delegation.<\/p>

Back in Santiago, they will participate in the 5th Edition Green Hydrogen Summit Chile LAC 2023 and a special networking event organised by Holland House Chile at the former residence of the Dutch Embassy in Chile. Finally, a Side Event dedicated to the important Mejillones Hub will be organised with the support of the Municipality of Mejillones, the Mejillones Industrial Association, the Mejillones Port Complex and the Port of Angamos.<\/p>

The Netherlands and Mejillones have been working for the last two years in building a partnership for the development of the green hydrogen industry, which allowed the signing of a Joint Declaration on the entire ecosystem of Mejillones and the Netherlands during the last World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam last May.<\/p>

They are now in the midst of the implementation phase of this collaboration and the search for concrete tools that allow the development of this important green energy hub and the transfer of experience and knowledge to develop projects with a special focus on the territory and its inhabitants.<\/p>

The other companies participating in this trade mission are NH3 Event Europe, Arcadis, Proton Ventures, Rotterdam Partners, Port Consultants Rotterdam, Van Oord, SoluForce, Royal Haskoning DHV.<\/p>

This third green hydrogen trade mission to Chile is being organised by the Dutch Business Agency (RVO) and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Chile with the support of Chile\u2019s Ministry of Energy, InvestChile and ProChile, as well as considerable support from the companies Export Partner and Mankuk Consulting & Services.<\/p>
