Within the framework of the Team Europe Project for the Development of Renewable Hydrogen in Chile—co-financed by Euroclima through AECID and supported by the Ministry of Energy and AGCID—a series of key activities were carried out to boost human capital in this industry.
In alliance with regional universities, strategic diploma programs tailored for the public sector were implemented: with the University of Magallanes, focusing on southern environmental assessment; with the University of Antofagasta, centering on high-radiation contexts and the mining industry; and with USACH, specializing in public policy and energy transition. Additionally, two technological study tours to Spain were coordinated, aimed at strengthening the applied research of academics and training technical-professional education teachers.
These initiatives directly propel the Green Hydrogen Action Plan 2023–2030, demonstrating the impact of international cooperation on building local capabilities and establishing enabling conditions for the country’s energy development.
